Ryan Meek
Assistant Coach

Ryan Meek is in his first year as an assistant coach with the Lions' volleyball program. Meek comes to the Lions after helping to run a successful club program in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Meek has coached in the Ozark Juniors system for three years, as well as serving as an assistant with the University of Arkansas women's volleyball team.

Prior to his time in northwest Arkansas, Meek spent three years as the head varsity coach at his high school alma mater, Simi Valley High School in Simi Valley, California.

A 2000 graduate of SVHS, Meek played at both Moorpark (Calif.) College and Quincy University before earning his degree from the University of Arkansas in May of 2009.


Robert Creekmore
Assistant Coach

Robert Creekmore is in his eighth year, off and on, as an assistant coach for the Missouri Southern volleyball team. The 2002 Southern graduate, played collegiate baseball at North Arkansas College before transferring to Southern in 2000.

He started his coaching career as an assistant to former Southern coach Debbie Traywick in 2000-2003 and came back in 2005 under current head coach Chris Willis.

The Diamond, Mo. native is a 1997 graduate of Diamond HS and is married to the former Misty Ray. The couple resides in Diamond. He is a full-time teacher at Webb City Elementary School.


Katie Gage
Assistant Coach

Katie Gage is in her first year as an assistant coach for the Lions after a four-year playing career at Missouri Southern. Gage spent four seasons playing for coach Willis as an outside hitter.

A native of Lamar, Mo. Gage was a four-year letter winner and two-time all-conference and all-district performer for the Lamar Tigers of coach Ann Landrum. A three-year starter, Gage earned first-team all-conference and all-district accolades in 2004 and holds school records for digs, including the career mark of 738. She also set school game and match records for kills and participated in basketball and track & field, setting the school shot put record.

Gage earned a degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Missouri Southern and is currently in the radiology program at Southern.
